In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obligated to inform you of the following:

Return Obligation and Disposal
As an end user, you are legally required to return used batteries so that they can be recycled or properly disposed of.
Used batteries may contain harmful substances that can damage the environment or your health if not stored or disposed of correctly. However, batteries also contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese, or nickel and can be recycled.
Return Options
You can return used batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range free of charge as follows:
- ✔ Free of charge at our shipping warehouse (see the legal notice for the shipping address).
- ✔ By returning them to us with sufficient postage.
- ✔ At local collection points (e.g., recycling centers or retail stores).
Meaning of the Battery Symbols
The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
For batteries that exceed a limit of more than 0.004 percent by mass of lead, 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium, or 0.0005 percent by mass of mercury, the chemical names of the respective harmful substances used are located below the wheeled bin symbol:
