Credit Assessment

In order to carry out a credit and default risk assessment, we obtain a credit report about you based on mathematical-statistical methods. This allows us to offer you a comprehensive selection of different payment methods while simultaneously protecting ourselves against default on accounts receivable (e.g., for payments on account or via direct debit).

We transfer the personal data required for a credit assessment (first and last name, address, and, if applicable, date of birth) via the credit bureau atriga GmbH (Pittlerstr. 47, 63225 Langen). This bureau provides us with credit information from one or more of the following credit agencies:

Your Consent

The transmission of the data entered by you during the order process to the aforementioned credit agencies is carried out with your consent (legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR):

“I hereby consent to a credit assessment being performed on my person. I can revoke my consent at any time with future effect. I am aware that a revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the time of revocation, and that in the event of a revocation, all payment methods may no longer be available to me.”

You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future.

Further Information

We use additionally received information regarding the statistical probability of a payment default to make a balanced decision regarding the establishment, execution, or termination of the contractual relationship.

The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values) which are calculated on the basis of scientifically recognized mathematical-statistical methods. Address data, among other things, is included in this calculation. Your legitimate interests will, of course, be taken into account in accordance with statutory regulations.

If you have any questions regarding the information provided, please contact atriga GmbH directly. They can provide you with more detailed information and name the specific credit agencies involved.

Payment Note:
Please pay the invoice amount by bank transfer to our bank account after receiving the goods and the invoice. We reserve the right to offer purchase on account only after a successful credit assessment.
