Baden black cherries, harvested when fully ripe, are lovingly stirred by hand and cooked with 60 % fruit content in an open copper kettle. This special manufacturing method means that large pieces of fruit are preserved. Faller´s black cherry jam with less sugar becomes a classic that tastes irresistibly good every morning.
Quality with passion
Since the company was found by Alfred Faller in 1913, Faller has been commited to premium standards. In keeping with traditional craftmanship, the jams are cooked in small quantities in an open copper kettle an stirred by hand. In doing that, the natural taste of the fruit is preserved as best as possible.
Every year, Faller also buys large quantities of fruits and berries from the neighboring Kaiserstuhl und Markgräflerland to make the popular Baden black cherry jam. Strict attention is paid to the cultivation, the ripening process and during harvest.
In keeping with the philosophy of tradition and quality, the flavor of the jams comes exclusively from the fruit. In addition to granulated sugar, high-quality apple pectin ist used for gelling and natural lemon juice concentrate to round off the taste.
