Wernet founded the honey bottling company "Honig-Wernet" in 1955 from a large-scale beekeeping operation based in Waldkirch. What started as a small, manageable product range has grown over the years into a substantial range of different honeys and bee products.

Today, Honig Wernet, together with 15 employees, processes around 25 different types of honey. This provides customers with a wide range of natural and single-variety honeys of brand-name quality.
