What is cold soap?
Cold soap is the spearhead of slow cosmetics. The soap is made with full consideration of plant oils and fatty substances that are essential for the saponification process. The oils are not heated or denatured.
A soap rich in moisturizing natural glycerin
Nothing to do with industrial soaps made from pasta containing animal fats (sodium tallow) or denatured oils, synthetic fragrances, dyes... and simply deprived of glycerin!
Real cold process soap is softer and less aggressive to the skin's hydrolipid film. It is even better than Marseille soap and Aleppo soap.
The vegetable oils in cold process soap (SAF) are not heated to high temperatures. They retain all their properties and virtues for the skin. This avoids in particular the problems of skin tension, dryness, dehydration, etc.: soft skin guaranteed!

Lulu & Guite is above all the story of Olga, a woman from Nantes, passionate about organic and natural cosmetics, sensitive to the ecology and quality of the products she applies to her skin and that of her family.

In 2010, she discovered homemade cosmetics and cold saponification, as well as the benefits of the plant world for the skin. Olga has trained, tested and experimented over the years, which has awakened in her a real awareness of the composition of the products offered by the cosmetics industry. In April 2015, she decided to share her passion and make natural cosmetics known to as many people as possible. In a nod to her two beloved grandmothers Lucie and Marguerite, she founded the organic cosmetics brand Lulu & Guite. From Nantes, she decided to set up the soap factory in Couëron, very close to Nantes.
