The recipe and the idea of the beer "La Goudale" date back to the 14th century. In the 14th century, the good beers were called "Goudale", "Goudalle", or "Good Ale". It was sold for 2 denarii per pot by a merchant called "the Goudalier". From this good tradition, the brewers in the Gayant brewery have retained the skills and the really quite appealing name, which is a whole story in itself.
It is brewed with a special malt, the aroma comes from the hops from Flanders, which creates a golden, strong beer. This Good Ale is a synonym for quality for connoisseurs, a symbol of quality for lovers, a taste for every beer lover, a beer of friendship from Le Brasseurs de Gayant.
This La Goudale is bottled in a 0.75 liter bottle. It is interesting that this beer is sealed with a champagne cork. The bottle is also reminiscent of a champagne bottle.
