Inspired by medieval cuisine, the "Saulce Cameline," this jam is created according to an oriental recipe. As early as the 13th century, Sauce Cameline was very popular, and in the 14th century, it could be bought ready-made from merchants. It was used as a side dish to fish, wild boar, and chicken, and it was served both hot and cold.
